Peggy passed away peacefully at home, with those close to her by her side, at the great age of 95 years old.

She is remembered as the most devoted and loving wife to Alfred (Jim), who she will now be reunited with in heaven.

A beloved mother to Sandra, David, Angela, Peter, Beverley and Christopher.

A cherished grandmother to 13 great grandmother to 23, and a proud great great grandmother (as of this year) to little Sonny.

A treasured mother in law to Michael, Jill, Dave and Donna, and grandmother-in-law to so many who cared for her so much.

A well loved and missed dear friend and neighbour. 

She leaves behind many many nieces and nephews too who loved her dearly and have fond memories of their time together.

Extended members of the family too who have long held her dear to their hearts.

One of 5 siblings, from a proud Alresford services family - family, duty, kindness and pride in her country were always close to her heart.

She was a long standing supporter of the Royal British Legion - poppy seller and Standard Bearer for the West Meon Women's section on many occasions.

She loved travelling to Scotland especially, but also Wales, Ireland, Devon, Somerset, and in her later years visited France, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany.

Her adventurous spirit, her courage, determination, and ability to bring joy and a smile to everyone she meets will be sorely missed.
